I can see some resentfulness in that anons reply, but in his defense, I've met a lot of girls that do that kind of thing. Being a gay man, I have mainly female friends, and over half of them enjoy the love em and leave em strategy, purely for the fun of it. (Not saying that this is a female only trait, but I'm just saying that it happens)
Yes it does happen , but no one owes any one anything , and that has to be taken into account , especially when it comes to dating
people want to feel loved and craved, its natural ,and when you give them feelings to someone you instinctively want them back ,however with that gentleman it seemed as though he was trying too hard to please everyone but himself. Constantly going for different types of personality and different women would give the impression he simply wants love, and not having it was leading him to resent women, when infact its not women that s the problem but him.
When we look at situations such as your friends we can say its “fun” for them, but they are not completely to blame. The man , or woman, is still giving them attention in the hope of having it returned , their weakness is just as much to blame as your friends abuse of it .

It is also hard for me to meet new women, because i am shy. but it seems anytime i do meet some one or hang out with a friend i knew in the past and try to take things to the next level it usually goes "Give me attention so i can ignore you". i really do appreciate your advice and the fact you are taking the time to reply!

Hey, i have a question for you, i am kind of stumped on what i am doing wrong. i think i am a good looking guy, i clean up well, i have good hygiene, i am in shape, and i am also a gentlemen, not to mention for girls who think tattoo's are sexy i have half my body already finished. i know i have my flaws as a person i have my own insecurities. but it seems that when ever i start talking to a girl we text a lot... a lot! but then when it comes for us to hang out, i get ignored and well, we don't.
